4. How We Store Your Information
Your data is securely stored on Supabase (EU servers), which complies with GDPR and uses
industry-standard encryption both in transit and at rest. App preferences are stored locally
on your device. We do not store your data on any other servers.

- Expo – Push notification delivery
- Anthropic – AI news summaries (no personal data sent)
- NewsAPI – News headlines (no personal data sent)
All service providers are contractually required to protect your information.
7. Your Rights Under POPIA
You have the right to:
- Access your personal information.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your information.
- Object to processing.
- Withdraw your consent at any time.

8. Push Notifications
Push notifications are enabled only with your permission during installation.
You may disable notifications at any time through your device settings.
9. Newsletter and Marketing
Marketing emails are sent only with your explicit consent. You may unsubscribe at any time
using the unsubscribe link provided in our emails or by contacting
privacy@moodex.ai.
10. Children
Moodex is not intended for persons under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect
personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, please contact us.
11. Complaints
You may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
